How to install Carpet Threshold in a corner?

I have a carpet in my basement next to a form of L. The bottom left L is the carpet and the top right side is vinyl. How can I make this transition? I had thought about buying wooden sticks transition and two cut at an angle of 45 degrees and meet the best I can, but there is a better way or easier?
