There was a carpet on the floor of my living room a year and when I went below to clean the other day, I noticed that the carpet, which is yellow, had left a yellow stain on the carpet below. Must be the ink used to dye carpets had taken on the carpet. I tried to vacuum and do not work. Then tried steam cleaning the carpet with carpet cleaner regularly and has not worked. Does anyone know of any product or process that remove this stain? It is huge – the entire area of the carpet.
These sites can help: http://www http://housekeeping.about.com/od/stainremoval/a/inkstains.htm http://www.tipking.co.uk/Laundry_and_Stains/Stains/A_to_Z_of_Stains/Ink/. It looks like water based dye so it ehow.com/how_10702_clean-ink-carpet.html good. You can see from the above that different people use different methods. I remember something about soda being useful. If all else fails, you can use to use a dye to dye the carpet in the dark it is now. I hope that this helps a little:) Good luck.
