I have a rug that my sister gave me as a gift. The colors are perfect for me house and is the perfect size for when I need it. But there is a problem – is in an area of heavy traffic (landing on the stairs) and do not stand still. It folds in the center and is pushed against the wall, the traffic is – causes a safety hazard because now we are all obstacles, and I'm so tired bend to the right. I know it probably was not an expensive rug, but I do not like to shoot. Does anyone have an idea on how I can get remain on the carpet? Was thinking of something stuck in the corners below the low weight …. maybe a crazy idea. I also thought maybe there is a way to attach the carpet like a safety pin …. probably too crazy, because I had just finished with the holes in my carpet. Perhaps someone else has a creative idea or if you know a product cost that could help me.
What I did when I had this problem, we used double-sided tape. Get the guy who is about 2-3 "wide strips that run along the sides of the carpet. Hopefully it works. You should be able to find in a store such as Menard. It is this type of rubber runners They also work to maintain mats in place. But I'm not sure that the work on a carpet. I know the work and vinyl floors and tiles. If the worst is becoming difficult, and really do not want moving to another area of the carpet, I suppose you could use a stapler to staple the bottom. You would need to use a butter knife to remove the staples if you ever want to move. Good luck, sounds like it is irritating for the moment.
