What is the best cleaning product for use in large areas of the carpet?

I live in a home port and they check the carpet ultraviolet light to see if there are spots of residue. I clean my carpet, but I do not want to be in the hands and knees scrubbing the stains I see. So I do I lose, I do not see the spots. All the products as well there as a steam cleaner or carpet shampooer or something? And I'm not a rug doctor. I say something that can really buy and keep it really works and leaves no residue behind, especially for pet stains. I read the comments on H20 MOP, but some people have had problems with him and no comments about blacklighting carpet after using the mop.

I have a bissel steam cleaner and it's wonderful. Pretreat stains and clean steam clean as soap bissel own product or solve. Foam only attract dirt later because they are difficult to rinse the carpet.
