I was moving my computer and temporarily on the carpet (I know, bad idea). The connections are all fine. But one day, the team has not started. currently generates Poor Sound still plugged in (in a surge protector). The sound is similar to its CD-bit repetitive scratching. It is a T4480 eMachines if that helps. No lights when the power button, including LED lamps and the noise never stops. What should I change or find when I opened the box the CPU? There is no smell coming from a part of the team. The noise of the computer is a repetitive, such long-scratching sound (like a pencil, but with the point). Also, I have experience with the opening of the CPU box, so I am not worried about doing more damage (ie not leading to an overload technical)
If nothing compares … I think the power source internally. It's the big box with the fan on it, and all the cables to the motherboard and hard drives. But you said that makes a humming noise that indicates a little juice to get to the machine. Unplug the wall … should not be surprised .. pass through the cables, one at a time and make sure that all connections is narrow, nothing shook loose during the move. If the son are all in favor of all components, then I return to the theory of supply. CompUSA … Check if your case is ATX size (usually means) and see if you can buy a new power supply. I think what we want is PS 250 WATT 1763 swap, taking care to match the connectors in the same way as above. (You can do it) is not so difficult. If you all hanging right should be able to above. Make sure if it was food that CompUSA accepts returns. Keep your receipt. Good luck!
