My 4 year old son, overthrew his milk on the carpet in my car. I tried washing with soap and water and can not get rid of the smell. I live in 90 + degree weather that the sun does not contribute not smell. Please help!
Pour a little vinegar on the stain and leave your car open to dry. Once dry, smell persistent than the properties of the acid kills bacteria that cause odor. If you have a Wal-Mart nearby, you can go to the laundry section and purchase a spray called ODOBAN by Febreze (do not be fooled by Febreze, since only covers the smell does not eliminate it). Kills bacteria and smells better than vinegar. It may also help eliminate odors from cars to get two small boxes of baking soda and putting them under the seat OT few pieces of coal in a box with holes and absorb any odors.
