Basement flooded? Question for all you plumbers out there ….?
We try to understand why. Work on the pump sump pump injection seems (but not sure to test howv). There is no standing water soaked carpet only thing I could think of, is the heavy rain we just received. But we had heavy rains before without flooding. Any idea, anyone? Its lke brand new building a year .. 2
The Heavy rains you say ………. a window of the basement? even if you close it, it may be possible to escape from there. an injection pump or pump ejector? you have a basement Plumbing guess? To test the pump as the water and being near the mouth of the expulsion until the pump kicks in and listening to the water to be expelled. Test the sump pump in the same way, except that you must flush water in the sump. The other possibility, I think it's really bad, your drain is clogged or broken, water accumulates in this area and coming through the concrete somewhere. Stroll in the basement, while someone will clean toilet water, etc. up, etc.. Hear see what you can find. Look for water stains on the walls, the ceiling near the windows. Heavy rains described makes me think that there may puddles outside a window, then a leak in this way, I hope that in the case of a house under 2 years.
