I had carpet installed last year and one step, the carpet has spread and, potentially, be polite to anyone coming down the stairs. Is it that I could nail or should I do something else? Thank you for the help in advance.
I guess it's a strap on the back edge of the neck, just before climb. If this happens, you can get a piece of wood (1×4 or 1×6 as one, because the height of the step), pushing him into the corner and touch the back of the wood a hammer to push the carpet in the strap. It could also play some finishing nails into the corners, but you have to bend instead of driving down, or simply pass through the carpet and not expected.
