I built a staircase of my house. 7 5 / 8 Rise – 10 Run. Ladders are carpeted. Before calculating the rails, I need to know the tread thickness. Then 3 / 4 "plywood is used cons? Or 1×12 (3 / inch thick) 4. Or should be thicker? Thank you in advance.

No, you can not use 3 / 4 "plywood cons or 1×12. Code requires a minimum thickness of 1 "(Inches FULL) for stairs. Most people use the tread or 2×12 stock for the stairs. Hope this helps.
