carpet bathroom What to do with a 15yr. old cat using the toilet on the carpet.?
I had my cat since birth. It is usually a cat interior, but was a couple of times. It was poo on the carpet every day for the last 3 weeks. I tried rub his nose in it, closing the fourth bathroom (where its security liters) of spray on the carpet. I do not know what to do now.
There is always a reason, a change cat toileting behavior, but do not do bad things – it is a human emotion. Stress can cause – anything that moves in the house, rearrange the furniture to a change in the people of the house or the absence of a loved one. And like a cat ages, they will receive more emphasis on easily – just like humans. If it is one of they have to give lots of love and cat care to reassure her – do not rub your nose in it. She does not understand and that only additional stress. Other reasons physicians may be that only a veterinarian may determine. It could be something easy to treat (an infection or similar) or a long-term illness (still can treat and give cat of the year, good quality of life) or simply the old – rising senile or she may not only be able to reach the plateau sand fast enough – in other litter box near where she was going on the carpet. Most importantly, go see a veterinarian who can first whether and in what could be wrong with that. At age 15 he could do at least one control. She is now an adult – which is not a sufficient reason to sleep, give plenty of love and attention and could have a happy life for several years. Take care to look Your cat!
