I am installing carpet in the open air in my living room (interior / exterior). There is very similar to a lawn feels. I want underpad below to give a little more cushion the feet, as it is in the basement. Then outdoor carpet will installed as covered with a Carpet Tack Strips installed, or I have to use tape or a mat for this? If I have to use Carpet Tape, Is it okay to put the carpet in the padding for not holding the edge of the strip of carpet or is it the cause of capretti yield over time? Thank you for your help about This carpet is sure exactly where. 18 oz face weight, olefins http://www.shawfloors.com/carpetDetails/Greens/Indoor_Outdoor/Club_Champion-Pine
It depends the support of the carpet. If your regular woven like a carpet (which is usually jute), you can put the pillow under it. Use a rug thin, about 8 pounds and 3 / 8 thick. You will need strips of hook and install it as a normal carpet inside. If paper in a thin spray of rubber, you can not replace the pad underneath.
