Make any rough and/or hard area soft and smooth instantly! Protect your flooring with these mats….
We just purchased our first home and our first project is to finish the basement. It already started, electricity, cable, walls are up, but i still need to do the ceiling and the floor.
The first thing we want to do is the flooring, we got some carpet tiles from a relative and have enough to do it all.
Can someone tell step by step what to do and also i heard you a seal or moisture barrier , if not the tiles will lift. How do you that?
Thanks
Don’t count on good advice from Lowes.
Do this FIRST – Make sure you have NO water issues. Its easy to do. Take a 1 foot square piece of heavy clear plastic. Tape it to the floor with duct tape. Come back in a week. if there is moisture under the tape then DO NOT carpet until this is addressed. Visit The Handyguys and ask what to do if you indeed have moisture. Just putting down plastic is the wrong approach.
